Wolf Ridge has a proud agricultural heritage. Our family owned business began in 2000 with a few hearty Icelandic sheep that have thrived in Montana’s highland environment.

Wolf Ridge Lamb & Wool Co. offers a full range of tender, grass-fed meat products from whole locker lambs to USDA inspected chops, racks and legs of lamb. Tasty brats, sausage and loin steaks are specially prepared from our adult sheep.

Naturally colored, award winning wool fleeces from our sheep are prized by hand spinners. We offer a full range of wool products including raw lamb fleeces, roving for hand spinning, felting and quilting bats, hand spun and finished yarn, and colorful sheared and full length, tanned pelts.

Wolf Ridge  practices state-of-the-art, managed-intensive grazing techniques. This ensures efficient use and nutritional development of the pastures we graze. Our sheep have a voracious appetite for all native grasses and brush including knapweed as confirmed by this year’s participation in a Sheep Grazing Demonstration Project sponsored by Upper Yellowstone Watershed Basin and Park Conservation District.
