Historical Product of Nature - Lamb meat from Iceland
Wolf Ridge has a proud agricultural heritage. Our farm is small and family-owned.
We know and
mark our animals. Sheep-farming is as old as the human
settlement. And even today, we rear our sheep
in a way established by centuries of tradition, constantly
improving the quality of their product.
Icelandic lamb meat from Wolf Ridge
In an environment where consumers are increasingly conscious
of their health, food must be safe to eat, pure and nutritious.
For this reason Icelandic lamb from Wolf Ridge will become recognized for its healthy nutritional value and unique
taste.
Icelandic sheep and sheep meat products
Much of Iceland’s lamb production is simply based on harvesting
the bounties of nature. The use of hormones as growth promoters
is strictly prohibited and antibiotics are banned as a feed
additive. The Montana climate, unpolluted air and abundant
supply of clean mountain water make the use of pesticides and
herbicides unnecessary. Montana's climate protects the land
against plant diseases, insects and other pests which plague
agriculture in warmer latitudes.
Choice lamb
Born in the spring spend the summer grazing freely
in the fresh air of Montana’s highland pastures. Wolf Ridge's lamb
is reared entirely outdoors and naturally pastured.
Delicious and distinctive taste of meat from
Wolf Ridge
This unique blend makes Wolf Ridge lamb instantly recognizable
for its delicious and distinctive taste. |
